Jesus loves you

Welcome, and thank you for visiting Pearce Baptist Church online. We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to meet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you.

Our Mission

Because all people need a relationship with God and others, we will seek to demonstrate God's love by connecting people to Christ and one another.

During this pandemic, we encourage Sunday School classes to connect in a way that best suits the class. Be sure and check on one another often. Our Women's class is meeting at 10 AM in our fellowship hall, which is located in the building on the left as you enter the parking lot. Our Children are also meeting at 10 AM in that same building for Sunday School.

If you would like to view online, we invite you to join us on Facebook on the "Pearce Baptist" page at 10 AM for Sunday School with Kevin Hunt and at 11 AM for Worship on Sunday Mornings. We invite those of you who feel it is safe to attend in person. We have carefully spaced seating. We ask that you wear a mouth and nose covering for the time being to protect the health of others.

The Church in strange times

" And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it." Matthew 16:18 NKJV

The confession that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God is what identifies us as Jesus' followers. No virus will diminish that. Those who are genuine disciples of His don't view change as a hindrance, but rather as an opening of new opportunities to show forth the love of Jesus to those who need to experience that love.

I want to challenge all believers to forget about what you don't have as well as all of the inconveniences and restrictions we are now facing and look for ways to show love and concern for your brothers and sisters in Christ, your family, your neighbors, and strangers. Use your phone, the internet, and even an open window to show forth the beauty of our Lord Jesus Christ. I think that we'll be amazed when this is all over at what God has done through us, his humble children. God bless each of you and join us when we are able to meet together again. I hope that's soon!

Love in Christ Jesus,

Pastor Mark
