Jesus loves you

Welcome

Welcome, and thank you for visiting Pearce Baptist Church online. We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor.

Our Mission

We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, helping others to do the same. We do this through sharing our faith, worship, Bible study, fellowship, community service and global missions.

Services

Sunday School for all ages meets at 9:30 AM. We meet in the main sanctuary (Building on the right), then disperse to our classes from there.

Sunday Morning services begin at 11:00 AM.

Wednesday night features an evening meal for those who sign up in advance. Meals begin at 6 PM. The cost is $5 per person or maximum of $15 per family. Bible studies for all ages begin at 7:00 PM.

Communion with God and each other

"If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin."  1 John 1:6-7 NKJV

Communion means to share in common. Whether we are truly in fellowship with God is evident to all around us. People in our lives can tell by the way in which we live. If we tell those in our network of friends and acquaintances that we are a Christian, we'd better back that up by living rightly. God's Word, the Bible, and Christian fellowship in a local church can really help us to line up how we live with what we're telling others. They can really help us to get to know God so that we can have good fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

When we do fail and sin, Isn't it good to know that we can be cleansed from all sin? This allows us to feel close to God again as well as with one another! We are seeking God to make us the kind of congregation of Christians that can be honest with one another and help one another to get right and stay right with God. If you've been staying out of church for a while, we'd love to meet you and have the opportunity to get to know you and help you to reconnect with God and other Christians. If you're not a Christian, we'd love to meet you and help you to get to know God. Come and join us for worship this month as we gather together to get to know and celebrate Jesus! I pray you have a wonderful week this week.

Love in Christ Jesus,

Pastor Mark
